Nestegg Case Study

My team was asked to create a new product experience informed through design research, understanding, and addressing user needs and behaviors. The goal was to create an experience that will provide significant help to users in their daily lives.

User Research

The initial step to developing the product experience was interviewing ten peole with the question, β€œDo you normally budget or manage your finances?”

This was done to gather information on what users preferred in a budgeting app and to see what their habits were in managing their finances for their lifestyles.

Synthesis

The second part of the research process is to synthesis all the data we gathered from our ten interviews to address the needs users brought up as a crucial part in managing and planning their finances.

User Tests

After prototyping our screens, we had ten users test our app with tasks we ask them to do. As we have each person test our apps, we ask them what they feel needs improvement and observe if the task was hard to follow within our interface.
